Our Mission
Why: A major barrier to women’s advancement is the “broken rung,” the first promotion to manager, identified in McKinsey’s Women in the Workplace report. This early bottleneck limits career growth and fuels the gender pay gap. Women hold fewer management roles and earn just 82 cents for every dollar earned by men, with wider disparities for women of color.

“I struggled when I started my career as a transportation analyst. With the help of leaders like you, I navigated my path to a full scholarship for my master’s in supply chain at MIT, a director role at Nike, and beyond. I started Supply Chain Gals so others don’t have to navigate their careers alone. Thank you for supporting the next generation of supply chain leaders.“
